Strengthening Your Social Net Workshop - July 21

Do you wonder if you’re communicating consistently, clearly and compellingly with your patrons and fans? Do you struggle to measure the ROI of your digital efforts? Are you concerned about how to sustain and improve the effectiveness of what you're doing digitally? You’re not alone. Attend this session by Trudel MacPherson Arts Consultants to learn how you can create an integrated digital communications plan and strengthen your social net.

Trudel | MacPherson Arts Consultants developed a national survey--How Strong is Your Social Net?--that measures messaging alignment, resource allocation and communications effectiveness of arts organizations to help answer some of these questions and develop a framework to  create a meaningful digital communications plan that includes web, email, social media, and more.

In this two hour session, attendees will hear the results and implications of the How Strong is Your Social Net? survey from the Greater Philadelphia respondents compared with trends from findings for the entire national sample. Attendees will also receive a digital communications matrix planning tool and see examples of how arts and cultural organizations can use the planning tool to align digital communications as part of the overall mission and identity of their organization. You do not need to have completed the survey to attend this session.

Trudel | MacPherson (T | M) enables nonprofits, public agencies, arts and membership organizations to stand out from the crowd. T | M consultants  guide brand development and stakeholder and marketing outreach, using multiple online and traditional communications channels; direct constituency engagement, event management, and peer learning opportunities. Founders Mary Trudel and Rory MacPherson bring more than 50 years combined experience in strategic counsel, branding, grant and program management, media relations and audience development to help clients achieve measurable, sustainable results.

Workshops are supported by The Wallace Foundation and The Philadelphia Foundation and are a program of the Cultural Alliance’s research and marketing initiative Engage 2020. Engage 2020 is sponsored by a lead grant from The Pew Charitable Trusts, with additional support from The Wallace Foundation and The Philadelphia Foundation.

Getting Started with Website Analytics – Webinar with Idealware June 29th

How many people visit your website every day? What are visitors doing when they get there? Which features are most popular? We'll talk through the tools and strategies you can use to get the answers to these questions. The seminar closes with a look at how you can fit analytics into your day-to-day processes.

Through demos of AWStats and Google Analytics (both free tools), we'll look at what these tools can tell you about your site and what the statistics mean. By the end of the webinar, you will understand:

• What information website analytics tools can (and can’t) tell you about your website
• The core statistics that are useful to track for your own site
• Whether a tool like AWStats or Google Analytics will be sufficient to your needs – or if you have more                 advanced requirements
• How these tools work, at a high level
• How to integrate website analytics into your day-to-day work

You will receive instructions on how to "attend" the webinar after you register.
