The Program Director of the Community Arts Center reports to the Executive Director and is responsible for developing and coordinating the programs of the Community Arts Center in support of the Arts Center’s mission and in coordination and cooperation with the Executive Director.  

Who we are seeking:

We are seeking a highly motivated and self-directed professional who is comfortable managing multiple programs simultaneously with efficiency in a fast paced environment. The following skills and attributes are essential:

  • Excellent communication and writing skills as well as a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to establish and navigate relationships with a large number of teaching artists. 
  • Prior experience planning programs 
  • Possessing an understanding of the various media within the visual arts
  • Ability to effectively and efficiently utilize an online registration system. (Training will be provided.)
