Donor Analytics

Our 2011 Portfolio report revealed that individual donors stepped up to the plate during the recession to help arts and cultural organizations make up some of the support they lost from foundations, corporations and government agencies. This finding resonated with us, as we’re sure it did with you too.

We’ve partnered with WealthEngine to create a new program, Donor Analytics. As you may already know, WealthEngine helps organizations effectively identify individuals with the net worth, income, lifestyle and affinity to become their next top donor or customer. 

Donor Analytics provides Cultural Alliance members with a discounted rate and $1,500 subsidy towards a yearlong subscription to one of WealthEngine’s online donor prospect research tools. Selected organizations will also participate in a dedicated User Group that meets quarterly and will share research and tips from WealthEngine, as well as best practices with peers in the regional arts and cultural sector. 

2014 Subsidy

Due to the generous support of the William Penn Foundation, the Cultural Alliance is able to provide nine, $1,500 subsidies to member organizations to help offset the cost of their WealthEngine subscription for one year. 

Subscription Options & Pricing 

The Donor Analytics program provides you with two WealthEngine subscription options to choose from:

1) FindWealth Online Database Subscription: FindWealth Online is a web-based research tool with immediate results on individuals, nonprofits, foundations, and companies. Valuable hard asset information like real estate, pension, and income, as well as philanthropic and biographical data is accessible. This tool provides user with the ability to do individual look-ups. 

Standard WealthEngine Rate: $4,050
Cultural Alliance Member Rate: $3,564
Rate after subsidy: $2,064

2) FindWealth Online Database and FindWealth Review Screening: Access to the above research tool plus a batch screening service that allows clients to submit lists (up to 10,000 records) of donors/prospects and WealthEngine conducts a full screening of each name.

Standard WealthEngine Rate: $5,750
Cultural Alliance member Rate: $4,600
Rate after subsidy: $3,100

To participate in the Donor Analytics program and be eligible for the subscription discount, you must be an active member of the Cultural Alliance and your organization must also participate in Audience Analytics. Unfortunately, current WealthEngine clients are ineligible to receive the preferred rate on their WealthEngine subscription, but are welcome and encouraged to participate in the User Group sessions and research projects. 

For organizations who apply, but are not awarded a subsidy, may still purchase a subscription to WealthEngine at the Cultural Alliance member rate. Access to WealthEngine will start January 2, 2014 and will go through December 31, 2014.
