This internship is for anyone who wishes to gain historic preservation and community outreach experience in a small non-profit committed to arts and design. The preservation and outreach intern will work directly with our
small team. The intern will manage social media, assist with events on our calendar for 2024, and as well as in documenting archival material and research during the week. The intern will also provide support for Saturday
cultural programs, ranging from academic lectures and craft-based workshops to larger fundraising events.

Each year the Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance seeks individuals to serve on Pennsylvania Partners in the Arts grant advisory panels. Panelists contribute artistic, administrative, educational, and operational perspectives in discussion and evaluation of grant applications.

As a volunteer panelist, you’ll have the opportunity to forge new connections with peers who share your passion for arts and culture while supporting your community. A vital voice in the decision making process, panelists get an up-close look at the grantmaking process and learn about the many creative ways artists and arts organizations are making a difference in the Greater Philadelphia region.

We are currently accepting applications for Creative Sector Flex Fund panels. Panels will be held virtually; there will be no in person meeting.

In 1988, the James A. Michener Art Museum opened as an independent, non-profit cultural institution dedicated to preserving, interpreting, and exhibiting the art and cultural heritage of the Bucks County region. The museum is named for Doylestown’s most famous son, the Pulitzer-Prize winning writer who first dreamed of a regional art museum in the early 1960s.
