The Major Gifts Officer for the Center for the Performing and Cinematic Arts (CPCA) (Boyer College of Music and Dance and the School of Theater, Film and Media Arts), reporting to the Assistant Dean for the College, will successfully manage a portfolio of approximately 100 major and leadership gift prospects and will qualify, cultivate, solicit, close, manage and steward gifts primarily between $50,000 and $250,000. The Major Gift Officer will secure funds for CPCA by managing a portfolio of assigned donors, representing CPCA and Temple University at large, and establishing connections between donors’ philanthropic interests and the priorities of CPCA and Temple University. Additionally, the Major Gift Officer is responsible for working directly with the alumni board leadership of the School of Theater, Film & Media Arts to assist setting objectives.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Philanthropy (Senior Director), the Annual Giving Manager designs, implements, and evaluates a new annual giving program to grow support for the Museum. Please Touch Museum’s (PTM) annual giving program is poised to grow considerably to support operating and program needs, provide predictable revenue forecasts, and organizational growth opportunities in anticipation of the Museum’s 50th anniversary in 2026.

The Annual Giving Manager provides exceptional administrative oversight of donor recognition and gift acknowledgement processes as administered by the Database Coordinator. The Annual Giving Manager leads constituent engagement efforts with an ability to leverage various tactics and communications channels. They lead, with the Senior Director, the building of a culture of philanthropy that underpins contributed revenue growth.

The Annual Giving Manager works independently in a fast-paced work environment while managing multiple priorities. This individual excels at anticipating and proactively overcoming challenges as they arise, is a team player, values precision, and handles confidential information with discretion. They deliver excellent customer service and work across the Museum to leverage every philanthropic opportunity to PTM’s benefit.
