Discounted room rate: $179 per night plus applicable taxes for single or double rooms. To make housing reservations, please call 1.800.441.1414 and identify yourself as part of the “Americans for the Arts” to receive this discount. You can also reserve your room online. The cut-off date for this room rate is Friday, October 8, 2010, and space is limited.

 

Ground Transportation
The Norman Y. Mineta (San Jose) International Airport is located three miles from The Fairmont San Jose, the conference headquarters. There is no complimentary shuttle service. Plentiful taxi service is available from the airport. Trips to and from the hotel cost approximately $20–$25.

 

Travel and Lodging Stipend Reimbursement
As a part of your scholarship, you will receive a travel and lodging stipend up to $300 from the Cultural Alliance. This is $300 per participant, so a total of $600 per team.

To be reimbursed for your travel expenses, please submit your travel and or lodging receipts to Melissa Cooper by November 30, 2010, and indicate who the check should be made out to. Please email to melissac@philaculture.org or fax to (215) 557-7823. Please allow at least two weeks for your reimbursement to be processed.
