Part-time Music Teacher

Jack M. Barrack Hebrew Academy seeks an experienced professional to serve as a part-time music teacher beginning September, 2017.

 

Job requirements include:

A Bachelor's degree in Music or Music Education

A background in Jewish music

Experience working with Middle School and Upper School students grades 6-12

The ability to teach music courses including but not limited to: instrumental, vocal, music theory and music history courses.

The ability to function as a member of a team and to work as a team member, harmoniously and cooperatively, with administrators, teachers, students, and parents

A positive, strong work ethic

The ability to meet deadlines in a timely manner

Computer knowledge applicable to the position such as word-processing skills, electronic presentation skills, web navigation skills, and email management skills, using music-related apps and programs
