50 Years of the NEA: What's Next for Creativity and Innovation

November 23, 2015 - 5:00pm

Drexel University's Arts Administration program invites you to a special evening with the NEA. Please join us on November 23rd for an engaging presentation and discussion with senior leaders from the NEA as they share "50 Years of the NEA: What's Next for Creativity & Innovation?"

Fifty years ago, President Lyndon B. Johnson signed the National Foundation on the Arts and the Humanities Act, which gave birth to the National Endowment for the Arts and the National Endowment for the Humanities. In that time, the NEA has distributed over $5 billion through more than 145,000 individual grants.

But what's next? How is the NEA evolving in its approaches, programs, and research to meet the changing needs of artists, organizations, and society as a whole? Join us for an enlightening and insightful conversation with speakers Bill O'Brien, Senior INnovation Advisor to the Chairman, and Sunil Iyengar, Research & Analysis Director. Space is limited for this free event, so please register now.
