Housed in the historic Manufacturer’s National Bank in Old City, the Ministry will be a 6-story, traversable, immersive world exploring themes of value, surveillance, exchange, currency, and humanness.

The Senior Floor Manager oversees the daily guest experience, ensuring every visitor is welcomed, oriented, safe, and emotionally engaged. This role leads all front-line teams—ticketing, retail, security, maintenance, performers, and interns—to deliver a seamless, “show-ready” environment where timed-entry flows smoothly, bottlenecks are minimized, and issues are resolved quickly and professionally. This position sets clear service standards, conducts training, and fosters a culture of hospitality and awe. They enforce safety and security protocols, manage incident response and documentation and coordinates closely with facilities and technical teams to maintain exhibit readiness. Through consistent reporting and continuous improvement informed by guest and staff feedback, the Senior Floor Manager ensures the experience is organized, magical, and consistently high-quality.

Weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) availability is required.

Quintessence Theatre, now in its 16th season of producing epic, classic theatre in Northwest Philadelphia, seeks an experienced, strategic and mission-driven Director of Development to join our team.  In 2024, Quintessence purchased its longtime home, the historic Sedgwick Theater on Germantown Avenue, and is embarking on an ambitious renovation project and Capital Campaign to create a performing arts center for its community. The Director of Development leads Quintessence Theatre Group’s capital campaign while driving sustained growth in major gift revenue. This role focuses primarily on campaign strategy, major donor cultivation and solicitation, and long-term relationship management. The Director of Development supervises the Associate Director of Development, who leads annual fund efforts, and works collaboratively to ensure strong alignment between campaign and annual giving initiatives.

Working closely with the Executive Director, Producing Artistic Director, Board of Directors, Campaign Committee, and Development Committee, the Director of Development plays a central leadership role in advancing the Campaign for Quintessence at the Sedgwick and strengthening the organization’s culture of philanthropy.

The Nakashima Foundation for Peace is a 501(c)3 nonprofit formed in 1986 by George Nakashima, renowned Japanese American architect, woodworker, and leading figure in the 20th century studio craft movement. Originally formed to fulfill George Nakashima’s vision of building Peace Altars around the world, the Foundation has since expanded to preserve and share the Nakashima legacy. The Foundation is based at the George Nakashima Woodworkers campus in New Hope, Pennsylvania, and shares the Nakashima legacy with the world through stewardship, education, cultural exchange, and global peace initiatives such as the Peace Tables.

The Nakashima Foundation for Peace seeks a mission-driven Director to lead the organization into its next chapter. Working closely with the Board President and Board of Directors, the Director will oversee all aspects of the Foundation’s operations, including staff and volunteers, collections and exhibitions, historic properties, financial and administrative management, and external partnerships. The Director will serve as the Foundation’s chief administrator and public ambassador, strengthening donor relationships, institutional collaborations, historic preservation partnerships, and community engagement.
