Surveyors will help to gather key data points (how much audiences spend, why they’re attending events, demographic information etc.) from audiences at arts and culture events in Greater Philadelphia. Data collected throughout this year will play an essential role in a nationwide research effort led by Americans for the Arts. Arts and culture organizations depend on that research, which is only possible through the work of the surveyors, to inform programming, operations, and most importantly, to secure funding for the vital work that they do.

The Program Manager will have these primary areas of responsibility:

Design and manage mentorship, engagement, and educational activities for participating families including advisory meetings, masterclasses, workshops and events – 40%

Work with PMAY organizations and their Student Advocates to coordinate their activities with Artists – 15%

Serve as primary collector and teller of PMAY’s stories of positive impact on students – 10%

Provide administrative support and representation for the Director, as needed such as payroll – 35%

The primary purpose of the Program Manager role is to develop and coordinate activities that educate participants and families about what they need to know to be successful within PMAY, including what the program is as well as why and how it can be most beneficial to Artists.

BASIC FUNCTION:                                            The  Associate Director of Development - Museum manages the Museum’s fundraising for educational programs, exhibitions, strategic initiatives, and capital projects; and is responsible for raising significant contributed revenue through grant funding from individuals, private, government, community, and family foundations; tracking and managing a contributed revenue line that includes museum donors, foundations, corporations, and individuals; and coordinating prospect research for potential museum donors.

                                                                                This position is a key member of the development and museum teams, working closely with senior leaders, curators, and education staff to meet fundraising goals. The successful candidate will have experience designing and implementing non-profit advancement plans, meeting annual fundraising goals, stewarding and retaining donors, and maintaining strong working relationships with colleagues and support staff.
