People’s Light seeks a Spanish and English speaking theatre teaching artist to lead an NEA-funded collaboration with Mighty Writers El Futuro, a non-profit educational organization serving students in the Kennett Square area. With the mission of helping migrant farmworkers and their children, Mighty Writers’ bilingual programming includes both academic and social-emotional learning goals.

Reporting to the President & CEO, the Senior Director of External Affairs is a new position joining at Musicopia’s pivotal 50th Anniversary year and responsible for the development of marketing and fundraising strategies to grow the base of philanthropic support and increase public awareness of Musicopia and affiliate Dancing Classrooms Philly. The Senior Director will be a frontline fundraiser for the organizations, responsible for setting the organizations’ strategic fundraising agendas to achieve and exceed contributed revenue goals. The Senior Director will support the Board in its fiduciary role related to all fundraising and donor development activities and will build and manage the organizations’ identities and all aspects of marketing communication to raise awareness of the organizations and their programs.

PECO is seeking panelists to read and deliberate on grant applications for its 2024 grants program, PECO Powering the Arts.  Now, in its third year, this annual grant opportunity helps community-based arts and non-arts groups with funds for projects geared towards attracting new and diverse audiences by reducing barriers to their participation. PECO recognizes those arts organizations that seek to create equitable access to the arts through arts education, engagement, and participation-- all essential elements of enhancing the quality of our lives and communities.

About the Opportunity:

Uptown Studio is actively seeking dynamic, passionate, and seasoned Teaching Artists for our upcoming Classes and Summer Camps. We're on the lookout for individuals skilled in various disciplines, such as acting, musical theater, music, camera acting, dance, improv, design, and more. Our ideal candidates will have a proven track record of working with a diverse range of students spanning from ages 3 to 18.

About Us:

Each year the Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance seeks individuals to serve on Pennsylvania Partners in the Arts grant advisory panels. Panelists contribute artistic, administrative, educational, and operational perspectives in discussion and evaluation of grant applications.

As a volunteer panelist, you’ll have the opportunity to forge new connections with peers who share your passion for arts and culture while supporting your community. A vital voice in the decision making process, panelists get an up-close look at the grantmaking process and learn about the many creative ways artists and arts organizations are making a difference in the Greater Philadelphia region.

We are currently accepting applications for Creative Sector Flex Fund panels. Panels will be held virtually; there will be no in person meeting.

The Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance seeks several surveyors to assist with surveying of arts and culture audiences through May 2023.

Surveyors will help to gather key data points (how much audiences spend, why they’re attending events, demographic information etc.) from audiences at arts and culture events in Greater Philadelphia. Data collected throughout this year will play an essential role in a nationwide research effort led by Americans for the Arts. Arts and culture organizations depend on that research, which is only possible through the work of the surveyors, to inform programming, operations, and most importantly, to secure funding for the vital work that they do.

Arts Holding Hands and Hearts (AHHAH) www.ahhah.org, a 501c3 non-profit 

is looking for trauma informed teaching artists to facilitate workshops with youth who are incarcerated in Chester County and facilitate after school workshops in Coatesville, Kennett Square, Phoenixville, and Oxford.
