Summary

Philadelphia Jewish Film and Media (PJFM) is seeking passionate Event Staff to help at the organization’s in-person events. Event Staff will be supervised by PJFM staff and hold a variety of tasks, from event set-up and breakdown, ushering, selling tickets, and distributing and collecting film ballots at the theater.

This is a temporary seasonal position for PJFM’s upcoming programs, including its annual Jewish film and media festival, Fall Fest 2024 (November 14-24), and other special events.

Primary Responsibilities: 

Storybook actively seeks Non-Union professional actors/singers of every cultural background and ethnic heritage for the upcoming  2024-2025 season. All character types are encouraged. Daytime availability is required. Season's shows include "Snow White," Elves and the Shoemaker," and "Wizard of Oz." Auditions Saturday, Sept 21 and Monday, Sept 23.

In this position, you will play a key role in developing and executing marketing campaigns across various channels, helping us reach new audiences, and participate in capturing exciting moments at PJFM events.

Darlington Arts Center (DAC) was founded in 1978 on the unique vision of including all four arts disciplines–music, visual arts, dance, and drama– in one space with an emphasis on multi-disciplinary programming. DAC has served the Delaware and Chester counties and Delaware State communities for over 40 years by fostering programs that provide possibilities and opportunities through the exploration of multi-disciplinary arts. PECO is seeking panelists to read and deliberate on grant applications for its 2024 grants program, PECO Powering the Arts.  Now, in its third year, this annual grant opportunity helps community-based arts and non-arts groups with funds for projects geared towards attracting new and diverse audiences by reducing barriers to their participation. PECO recognizes those arts organizations that seek to create equitable access to the arts through arts education, engagement, and participation-- all essential elements of enhancing the quality of our lives and communities.

We're on the lookout for individuals skilled in various disciplines, such as acting, musical theater, music, camera acting, dance, improv, design, and more. Each year the Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance seeks individuals to serve on Pennsylvania Partners in the Arts grant advisory panels. Panelists contribute artistic, administrative, educational, and operational perspectives in discussion and evaluation of grant applications.

As a volunteer panelist, you’ll have the opportunity to forge new connections with peers who share your passion for arts and culture while supporting your community. A vital voice in the decision making process, panelists get an up-close look at the grantmaking process and learn about the many creative ways artists and arts organizations are making a difference in the Greater Philadelphia region.

We are currently accepting applications for Creative Sector Flex Fund panels. Panels will be held virtually; there will be no in person meeting.

The Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance seeks several surveyors to assist with surveying of arts and culture audiences through May 2023.

Surveyors will help to gather key data points (how much audiences spend, why they’re attending events, demographic information etc.) from audiences at arts and culture events in Greater Philadelphia. Data collected throughout this year will play an essential role in a nationwide research effort led by Americans for the Arts. Arts and culture organizations depend on that research, which is only possible through the work of the surveyors, to inform programming, operations, and most importantly, to secure funding for the vital work that they do.
