About the Opportunity:

Uptown Studio is actively seeking dynamic, passionate, and seasoned Teaching Artists for our upcoming Classes and Summer Camps. We're on the lookout for individuals skilled in various disciplines, such as acting, musical theater, music, camera acting, dance, improv, design, and more. Our ideal candidates will have a proven track record of working with a diverse range of students spanning from ages 3 to 18.

Uptown Studio operates as the children’s education department of the Uptown! Knauer Performing Arts Center, a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Our mission revolves around delivering children’s theater educational programs with a distinctive emphasis on nurturing individual growth within a group setting. We help guide our students through emotional and developmental milestones while fostering robust acting abilities and self-assurance. Our faculty comprises seasoned professional actors dedicated to providing top-tier performing arts education to students of all ages and abilities, hailing from Chester County, Delaware County, Wilmington, and Philadelphia. We prioritize cultivating confidence and encouraging risk-taking within a supportive, fun, and secure environment.
