Ceramics Technician

Abington Art Center is seeking a Ceramics Technician to work 3-4 days a week for our busy ceramics program. The ideal candidate will have experience working as a ceramics technician in a community studio or school. Or 5+ years experience as a ceramic artist managing a studio. Preference will be given to candidates with strong ceramics technical skills, familiarity with kiln loading and unloading, as well as knowledge of glaze mixing and materials, firing processes, clay bodies, ceramic studio maintenance and practices.

The Meridee Winters School of Music is looking for flexible, creative, and responsible musicians to teach in-home lessons on piano, voice, guitar, and more to kids of all ages and skill levels.  (Teaching experience isn't necessary. We train!)

Upper Dublin Public Library (UDPL) is seeking a creative and collaborative Programming Assistant to deliver engaging, inspiring enrichment opportunities. This limited-term (with potential for extension or renewal), part-time position (22–25 hours per week), including periodic night and weekend hours, begins immediately.

As a member of the Library’s Community Engagement Team, this Programming Assistant position supports the planning, coordination, and implementation of programs primarily for adults, while providing secondary support for programs serving general audiences, families, and children. A key focus of this role is supporting UDPL’s highly successful Adult Discovery & Learning series, offered three seasons per year with four- to six-week courses on topics such as history, current events, art, music, and performance. This flagship program draws approximately 750 attendees annually and is central to the Library’s adult education mission.

Other responsibilities may include supporting high-profile bestselling author events, which connect readers with writers and contributing to a wide range of hands-on learning opportunities, including programs in fabric arts, science, technology, and other creative and educational disciplines. Alongside programming, the role actively engages in partnership building and community outreach to expand the Library’s reach and impact.

Part-Time Film Projectionist

BMFI is seeking a skilled and reliable Part-Time Film Projectionist to join our theater operations team. Reporting to the Director of Theater Operations, the Film Projectionist ensures the highest presentation standards for both film and digital screenings. This role is ideal for an early-career audio engineer, producer, or technically skilled musician eager to develop leadership experience in vocal production, collaborative audio workflows, and music-video-driven projects. You’ll work closely with the executive team to support recorded performances and music videos, transforming multitrack vocal recordings into polished, video-ready audio. This is a volunteer position with the opportunity to grow into a leadership role over time. Singers based in the Greater Philadelphia area are encouraged to audition and join the group as performing members, though neither ensemble membership nor local residence are required for this role.

The PTC House Assistant / Lighting Programmer will primarily be responsible for programming the ION XE console for PTC shows and large rental events. The position will also support the lighting department on installs, strike and maintenance, and work with other departments as needed. This is a part-time position and while much of the programming calendar can be given in advance, other work will be on an as needed basis.
