Position Overview

The Bilingual Arts Educator / Creative Arts Therapist designs and facilitates culturally responsive, trauma-informed arts programming for diverse communities. This role blends arts education, creative expression, and therapeutic practice to support emotional well-being, identity development, and community healing.

DiasporaDNA Story Center (DDSC) is seeking educators and teaching artists to join its inaugural Spring 2026 Education Advisory Council (EAC). This council will play a vital role in shaping culturally grounded, community-centered educational experiences rooted in our archives, multicultural festivals, and diaspora storytelling.

Darlington Arts Center (DAC) was founded in 1978 on the unique vision of including all four arts disciplines–music, visual arts, dance, and drama– in one space with an emphasis on multi-disciplinary programming. DAC has served the Delaware and Chester counties and Delaware State communities for over 40 years by fostering programs that provide possibilities and opportunities through the exploration of multi-disciplinary arts. We are seeking a passionate, committed Choir Teaching Artist for the upcoming school year at our Music Center located at Impact Charter School West in West Philadelphia. This person will lead choral classes while working on repertoire, strengthening aural skills, and encouraging musicianship that ultimately supports students’ progress on their instruments and orchestral growth.

PlayArts: After School Program Staff (Part-Time)

Must be able to reliably commute to the Fishtown area of Philadelphia!

Make a difference in the lives of children through arts-based learning! Join PlayArts in Northeast Philadelphia to provide engaging arts and enrichment programming to children after school, fostering creativity in a supportive and inclusive work environment!

Join PlayArts' substitute teacher list and provide flexible, on-call support for our PlayLoud AfterSchool program in Philadelphia!

Responsibilities: Supervise and engage with elementary-aged children in arts activities and outdoor play, maintain a safe and orderly classroom, and follow lesson goals.

Qualifications:

Haverford College invites applications for our full-time (35 hours a week), non-exempt, benefits-eligible Administrative Assistant opportunity. 

The Apprenticeship Program was created in the winter of 2022 with the goal of creating a pathway for individuals interested in pursuing a career as a Teaching Artist. We provide an intensive training experience which equips young musicians with the skills and experiences needed to succeed as Teaching Artists. During your apprenticeship, you will be paired with an experienced Play On Philly Teaching Artist so you may observe classroom dynamics and successful teaching techniques in addition to trying out classroom teaching and receiving prompt feedback.

We are seeking a passionate, committed Strings Teaching Artist for the 2025-26 school year at our Music Center locations in Philadelphia. This individual will lead ensembles and sectionals of 6-10 intermediate students.
