Under the direction of the Center for Performing and Cinematic Arts (CPCA) Assistant Dean of Recruiting and Admissions, the Admissions Coordinator will be responsible for managing a range of administrative tasks and outreach focused on student recruitment and admissions for the undergraduate and graduate programs with a primary focus on the Dance Department in the Boyer College of Music and Dance. Coordinates audition days for the Dance Department and other Boyer College programs as needed. Works with music and dance applicants, faculty, and staff to process admissions materials.

Girls First is currently seeking a Dance Teaching Artist for our Outreach afterschool programming in Chester on Thursdays between the hours of 3:30-5:30pm.  Lessons are in-person at our Outreach partner locations.

Darlington Arts Center (DAC) was founded in 1978 on the unique vision of including all four arts disciplines–music, visual arts, dance, and drama– in one space with an emphasis on multi-disciplinary programming. DAC has served the Delaware and Chester counties and Delaware State communities for over 40 years by fostering programs that provide possibilities and opportunities through the exploration of multi-disciplinary arts. We are seeking a passionate, committed Choir Teaching Artist for the upcoming school year at our Music Centers located in West Philadelphia. This person will lead choral classes while working on repertoire, strengthening aural skills, and encouraging musicianship that ultimately supports students’ progress on their instruments and orchestral growth.

We are seeking a passionate, committed Cello Teaching Artist for the upcoming school year at our Music Center located at St. Francis de Sales School (SFDS). This individual will lead a studio of 8-10 intermediate students and a studio of 6-8 beginner students.

PlayArts: Lead After School Program Teacher (Part-Time)

Location: Fishtown, Philadelphia (Reliable commute required! Onsite Work)

Compensation: $20 - $22.00/hour + $500 Hiring Stipend! (Paid time off & clearance reimbursement also included)

The position is part of a dance teaching team, supporting the lead dance instructor. Responsibilities include leading warm-ups, creating and refining choreography, and collaborating on learning objectives and lesson development. Candidates who embrace innovation and enjoy thinking outside the box are encouraged to apply.

Afterschool Visual Art 

The winter/spring teaching artist afterschool position begins February 10th and runs to May 21st. Drawing and painting are the focus with the ability to incorporate other mediums. The classes run two times per week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00 - 5:30 pm. West Park Cultural Center operates afterschool programming in West Philadelphia. Program participants range in age from 10 to 13 witha  class size of 15.
