About the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts

The Education Assistant supports Rock to the Future’s MusiCore After School programming by creating a warm, structured, and student-centered environment in the Ready for the Future (RFTF) space. This role provides individualized and group academic support, supports youth in life skills and college/career readiness activities, and collaborates with the Education Manager to ensure that students are progressing in alignment with their education and post-secondary goals. The Education Assistant helps maintain consistent communication, supports workshop facilitation, and ensures daily operations in the education space run smoothly.

Role: Teaching Artists for STEAM out-of-school time programming  

After School sites: Philadelphia School District schools (See map of sites)

Dates/Times: 

After School Schedule: Monday-Thursday through June 11th, 3-6 pm ET (subject to slight differences per site)

Pay: $25-$30.00 per hour 

Responsibilities:

The OBIE Award-winning Pig Iron Theatre Company seeks a Production Manager to lead the execution of Pig Iron’s artistic programming. Pig Iron is an incubator and producer of experimental performance work and also runs a 2.5-year MFA program in devised theater, in partnership with Rowan University. Pig Iron produces approximately one world premiere per year and has been presented nationally and internationally. Prior experience in performing arts production is preferred.

Job Description 

The Boyer College Coordinator and Scheduler will support a wide variety of activities under the supervision of the Vice Dean of Finance and Administration, CPCA.

The Events Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a robust Event Rental program for Fleisher Art Memorial, including weddings, corporate events, non-profit partner fundraisers, and other client-focused initiatives. In this capacity, the Events Manager serves as the primary liaison for clients and vendors, ensures smooth event logistics, manages financial and compliance needs, and assures that the event coexists seamlessly with Fleisher’s classes and programs. The Events Manager also contributes significant support and coordination to several mission-driven organizational events, including signature fundraisers and community festivals.

Choreographer for Newsies JR for grades 5th & 6th from September -  January on Mondays, Wednesdays and/or Thursdays from 5-7PM

Looking for a choreographer to work with a cast of approximately 30 5th & 6th grade students on their production of Newsies JR!  This person must be comfortable directing and guiding a wide variety of student learners and have familiarity with putting on a stage production. This person will collaborate with a director and music director to put this production onstage.

Flexibility, creativity, and willingness to mentor young people, with experience teaching dance to young learners (Pre-K to 6th Grade)

Background in ballet, tap and jazz
