Position Summary

Education Programs Assistant/ Site Coordinator 

Location: Louis Farrell Elementary School, Al-Bustan hub, and remote
Reports to: Education Coordinator/ Site Director
Hours: Part-Time, approximately 10 hours per week, Onsite – Tuesday/ Thursday, 2 pm – 5:15pm
Compensation: $25/ hour

Join PlayArts' substitute teacher list and provide flexible, on-call support for our PlayLoud AfterSchool program in Philadelphia!

Responsibilities: Supervise and engage with elementary-aged children in arts activities and outdoor play, maintain a safe and orderly classroom, and follow lesson goals.

The Arts League is looking for a full time position managing our grants and donorship and marketing efforts.  

Responsibilities:

• Seek out and nurture grants for specific programs as well as entire operations.
• Coordinate donor campaigns and maintain donor relationships through an online database.
• Create and execute marketing campaigns supporting specific programs as well as the entire operation.  

Expectations:

HOURLY CONTRACT: 3 hours per week [TUESDAYS] (Class meetings dependant on Public School Calendar)

REPORTS TO:  Director of Education

DATES: October 14 2025  – June 11 2026

SALARY: $40/hr starting rate with a max of $75/hr

Responsibilities:

❖ Igniting students' curiosity about the range of your discipline.

❖ Co-creating with students at least two seasonal showcases over the school year.

❖ Collaborate with other teaching artists and school coordinators to develop a cohesive creative community honoring student voice and choice.

❖ Create and conduct scope and sequence lessons, supplies provided by PAEP.

❖ Supply clearances to work within the Philadelphia School District.

❖ Attend PAEP professional development offerings.
