Philadelphia and was most passionate when writing about public education. He thrived on the

excitement of city life and believed that a solid education has the power to change the life of a

child... thereby changing the world. Russell died on December 4, 1999, when he was murdered

PECO is seeking panelists to read and deliberate on grant applications for its 2024 grants program, PECO Powering the Arts.  Now, in its third year, this annual grant opportunity helps community-based arts and non-arts groups with funds for projects geared towards attracting new and diverse audiences by reducing barriers to their participation. PECO recognizes those arts organizations that seek to create equitable access to the arts through arts education, engagement, and participation-- all essential elements of enhancing the quality of our lives and communities.

About the Position

The Director of Development will join a talented fundraising team and will be primarily responsible for managing The College of Physicians' overall giving efforts. Reporting to the Vice President of Development, the Director of Development is also responsible for cultivating, stewarding, and securing mid-level gifts while expanding the donor pipeline.

Primary Responsibilities

The EJC Project Manager works in partnership with the Executive Director, and in coordination with the Community Liaison Lead, to advance the work of the Foundation/EJC through the planning, budgeting, tracking, coordination, oversight and implementation of EJC Virtual Hub goals and tactics. The Project Manager will drive planning, tracking and completion of all EJC related activities and deliverables. The Project Manager will function as the liaison between the EJC Steering Committee, other project stakeholders, PBF/EJC Staff, and the Technical Development Team to advance the project and keep all tasks and priorities on track. Activities will include building the project plan, tracking deliverables, coordinating reporting and input among stakeholders, and tracking the budget. The position requires excellent attention to detail, creative thinking, evaluation and study of problems and written solutions and presentations to those problem. In addition, the project manager will serve as a liaison between the steering committee and technical experts for the development of the navigation portal and related initiatives.

The Philadelphia Bar Foundation's Communication and Advocacy Lead works in partnership with the Executive Director and the Director of Community Engagement to advance the mission and strategic goals of the Philadelphia Bar Foundation and PBF Holdings, Inc. by running external and internal communications. This position assists with all aspects of communications for the Foundation and the Equal Justice Center which includes marketing, advertising, public relations, media relations, print collateral, email marketing, solicitation materials, promotions, event planning, web content, social media, digital assets, data stewardship, brand reputation, outreach, advocacy, and engagement on critical issues. This position offers opportunity for hybrid work and includes some night and weekend events and requires strong customer service skills.

project, responsible for building and maintaining relationships with the people of Philadelphia to ensure
community voices are a driving force in the design process, as well as during development,
implementation, and beyond. The role is responsible for organizing and executing community events,
attending local meetings, and networking functions, and promoting the virtual EJC project. The ideal
candidate will be outgoing, organized, have a deep understanding of the communities to be served, and
the ability to effectively communicate EJC’s message to many audiences. The Community Liaison’s work
hours will be flexible and may require attending community events on nights and weekends.

BASIC FUNCTION:                                            The  Associate Director of Development - Museum manages the Museum’s fundraising for educational programs, exhibitions, strategic initiatives, and capital projects; and is responsible for raising significant contributed revenue through grant funding from individuals, private, government, community, and family foundations; tracking and managing a contributed revenue line that includes museum donors, foundations, corporations, and individuals; and coordinating prospect research for potential museum donors.

                                                                                This position is a key member of the development and museum teams, working closely with senior leaders, curators, and education staff to meet fundraising goals. The successful candidate will have experience designing and implementing non-profit advancement plans, meeting annual fundraising goals, stewarding and retaining donors, and maintaining strong working relationships with colleagues and support staff.

The Free Library of Philadelphia Foundation is searching for a highly organized individual with strong communication and problem-solving skills to serve as an integral part of the Communications team charged with building brand awareness through digital and print communications. This individual will be responsible for initiating and managing the design and production process for multiple, simultaneous projects, and leveraging their experience to ensure that Free Library communications are printed/created and disseminated accurately, on time, and on budget.  Successful candidates will enjoy keeping others organized in a fast-paced environment, and will contribute to the Library’s aim to increase equity and inclusion in the institution and throughout our city.
