Hagley Museum and Library (Hagley) collects, preserves, and interprets the unfolding history of American enterprise. Hagley is an indoor/outdoor cultural heritage site that explores the history of innovations in science, technology, and engineering through the du Pont story.

Hagley's renowned library furthers the study of the history of business and technology in America. The collections include individuals' papers and companies' records ranging from eighteenth-century merchants to modern telecommunications and illustrate the impact of business on society.

The American Philosophical Society Library & Museum seeks reliable and friendly Museum Guides to engage, educate, and inform guests in our Museum gallery and through public programs. This role offers a unique opportunity to be a part of Philadelphia’s historic celebration of the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, located in the heart of Old City right next to Independence Hall.

The exhibition for the 2026 season is These Truths: The Declarations of Independence, which runs from April 10, 2026 to January 3, 2027. This exhibition explores how Americans used, reproduced, and understood the Declaration during the first fifty years of its history. Featuring rare printings of the Declaration, along with other manuscripts, paintings, letters, and artifacts will be on view for visitors to learn how the document was drafted, printed, and spread across the new nation. 

The department of Community Programs and Inclusion at Please Touch Museum develops and delivers accessible, mission-driven programming that connects diverse communities to the Museum through play-based learning experiences. Members of the Department of Community Programs and Inclusion facilitate and develop Journey Together programs, field trips, and general museum programming. Journey Together is a grant funded program exclusively for children, ages 8 months to 5 years old, and their caretakers. This position will require an experienced knowledge of the value of learning through play.

Assist in generating timely and accurate financial statements for the Barnes.  Provide general accounting customer service to staff.

Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:30am – 4:30pm, occasional evening or weekend events related to their role. This is an onsite position.

Job Purpose:

The Grants Manager assists in the implementation of a comprehensive institutional fundraising program, securing restricted and unrestricted support from new and returning institutional donors, including foundations, corporate foundations, and government entities. Alongside the Director of Foundation Relations and Government Grants, this position works from an approved set of organizational fundraising priorities, including a wide range of education, exhibition, program, strategic priority, and endowment opportunities, among others. This position is responsible for the timely preparation and submission of successful grant proposals, with equal emphasis on the stewardship of foundation relationships and meeting all reporting requirements. In addition to overseeing a portfolio of assigned prospects, the Manager is responsible to identify and cultivate new funders to help the program fulfill its ambitious annual financial objectives. In addition, the Manager builds and maintains cross-departmental relationships to stay current with internal program developments and identifies viable institutional prospects to fund approved new initiatives. 

The Museum of the American Revolution seeks a creative, detail-oriented, and mission-driven Graphic Designer to join our in-house team on a full-time basis. Reporting to the Art Director, the Graphic Designer will contribute to the Museum’s visual storytelling by producing high-impact design across a wide range of media and departments. This includes marketing campaigns, exhibition graphics, donor communications, event branding, merchandise design, educational materials, and more.
