Amy Blumberg

Amy Blumberg holds an MFA in Theater Directing from Temple University and is now part of the Bloomberg Arts Internship team as the Internship Manager. Before joining the Cultural Alliance team, Amy was a graduate student and theater director. In addition to being the Internship Manager for the Bloomberg Arts Internship, Amy enjoys biking around Philadelphia, playing with dogs, and making art.

Lauren Gilmore

Lauren (she/her/hers) works closely with the President and Chief Officer for Finance & Administration as part of the Administrative team to oversee the Membership Program, Job Bank and keep things running smoothly around the office as Manager of Membership & Administration. Before joining the Cultural Alliance team, Lauren was Assistant Director of Admission at Westminster Choir College. Lauren has a Bachelor’s in Music Education and a Master’s in Voice Pedagogy and Performance. In addition to being Manager of Membership & Administration, Lauren volunteers with different arts organizations around the city and enjoys reading, traveling and her yoga practice.

Roberta Johnson

Roberta (she/her/hers) has a Bachelor’s in Crime, Law, and Justice with a minor in Art History and a Master’s in Arts Administration. As Vice President of Audience Engagement, Roberta oversees the Cultural Alliance’s marketing programs, including the Phillyfunguide, its discount-ticketing program, Funsavers, as well as the Cultural Alliance’s audiences building research initiatives. Prior to joining the Cultural Alliance team, Roberta was a branch coordinator for Settlement Music School. In addition to being Vice President of Audience Engagement, Roberta enjoys knitting, reading, volunteering and is a member of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc., Pennsylvania Chapter.

Tom Bonner

Tom holds a master’s degree in Arts Administration from Drexel University and is part of the Bloomberg Arts team. As Grant Manager, he manages the planning and implementation of the Bloomberg Arts Internship in collaboration with more than two dozen member organization worksites and program partners.

Before joining the Cultural Alliance team, Tom was a project management and communications consultant supporting arts, culture and education in Philadelphia and beyond. He has helped to plan and execute dozens of programs and events in partnership with artists, educators and companies from coast to coast. In addition to his work on the Bloomberg Arts program, Tom is on the leadership team for TEDxPhiladelphia, and continues to support independent creative projects as a collaborator and manager.

Allison Vanyur

Allie (she/her) received her BS in Entertainment & Arts Management, with a concentration in Dance and a minor in Business Administration, from Drexel University. As Grants & Events Manager, she administers the Pennsylvania Partners in the Arts re-granting program, manages the STAMP (Students at Museums in Philly) and its Teen Council and plans many of the Alliance’s events including the Annual Meeting. Before joining the Cultural Alliance, Allie served as Communications Associate for The Pew Center for Arts & Heritage and as Marketing & Communications Manager for BalletX. In addition to being Grants & Events Manager, Allie is an instructor at Freehouse Fitness and enjoys yoga, hiking and attending live music concerts.

Frances Ellison

Frances joined the Cultural Alliance in 2016 as the Digital Content Coordinator and became the Assistant Manager of Digital Marketing in 2017 as a part of the Audience Engagement team. She manages the Funsuite (the Phillyfunguide and Funsavers programs), and handles all customer service, digital content creation and inquiry for both programs, building all Funsavers offers and weekly emails and soliciting organizations to submit events for both.

Frances received her B.A. in Communications with a concentration in Journalism and Professional Writing in 2015 from Chestnut Hill College. In one of her many past lives, she has written for the Chestnut Hill College Magazine and Philadelphia Weekly. In addition to running the Funsuite, Frances enjoys aerial acrobatics, cooking, gardening and snuggle time with her cat.

Kristen Vinh

Kristen (she/her) studied Journalism at Temple University and has a certificate in Front End Web Development from Treehouse, Inc. As Strategic Communications Manager, Kristen oversees communications across the Cultural Alliance’s multiple brands, working closely with the advocacy, membership and audience engagement teams at the Cultural Alliance. Prior to joining the Cultural Alliance team, Kristen was a reporter for Generocity. In addition to being strategic communications manager, Kristen volunteers as a teaching assistant for web development classes in Philadelphia and enjoys running with Team Philly.

Kelli Paul

Kelli Paul works with the fundraising team as Vice President of Development and is responsible for meeting the Cultural Alliance’s annual contributed revenue goals and manages all support from foundations, corporations, individuals and the government. Before joining the Cultural Alliance team, Kelli worked as the Development and Marketing Manager for The Philadelphia Singers. She holds an MS in Arts Administration from Drexel University and a BS in Dance/Business from Eastern University. Kelli is the co-founder of Emerging Arts Leaders: Philadelphia and serves on the steering committee for the Philadelphia chapter of Women in Development and as a panelist for the Philadelphia Cultural Fund. She has also served on the Next Generation committee of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and as Board President of Ballet 180. She was a 2017 Greater Philadelphia Leadership Exchange delegate and part of the 2014 Designing Leadership class by the Arts and Business Council of Greater Philadelphia.

Stuart Adair

Stuart Adair (he/his) has a B.S. in economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.  As Chief Officer for Finance & Administration he oversees finance and human resources and works closely with the team that manages membership, IT, events, grantmaking and general administration.  Prior to joining the Cultural Alliance, Stuart was Executive Director of Astral Artists; an associate with Your Part-Time Controller; Director of Business On Board and Business Volunteers for the Arts + Business Council of Greater Philadelphia; and Director of Housing at Internal House Philadelphia.  Stuart is on the board of the Philadelphia Cultural Fund and served as Treasurer for the past 4 years. Stuart also participated in the Shannon Institute Leadership Program in 2014.  Stuart loves to travel, visit museums, and attend theatre and music performances.
