The Print Center

The Print Center is looking to engage an in-person and part-time, temporary curatorial assistant primarily,
but not exclusively to support the upcoming exhibition, America Today, funded by the Pew Center for Arts
& Heritage. The group exhibition will bring together contemporary artworks from mission-based printshops
across the United States to examine the state of American civic life on its 250th anniversary. The
Curatorial Assistant directly supports the Jensen Bryan Curator in preparing and mounting the exhibition,
related events and a publication.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assistance with exhibition planning and implementation
  • Content research
  • Partner interactions including correspondence
  • Travel and accommodation plans
  • Special event planning
  • Drafting exhibition and publication materials
  • Image management
  • Monitoring and responding to inquiries
  • Assist with PR/Marketing needs

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred
  • Excellent writing and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of contemporary art, interest in printmaking preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Strong attention to detail

Compensation: $25/hour, 14-21 hours/week

Duration: February – June, 2026
