Open Call for Art on the Parkway
Open Call for Art on the Parkway, co-organized by the Association for Public Art (aPA) and the Parkway Council, in partnership with Philadelphia Parks & Recreation (PPR), invites artists, designers, and other creatives to propose a temporary public art installation in Maja Park on Philadelphia’s Benjamin Franklin Parkway as part of the annual summer Oval festival. Accounting Manager
- Manages the month-end closing process to ensure timely financial statement reporting, including reconciliation of all bank and investment accounts.
- Produces monthly financial statements, including Statement of Financial Position, Statement of Activities by restriction, Cash Flow Statement, and Statement of Functional Expenses.
- Reviews departmental budget vs. actual reports monthly, identifies and reports variances, and works with appropriate department personnel to ensure compliance.
Art Handler
Art In Transit is rapidly expanding and is in need of Art Handlers on an hourly basis. The work includes the completion of art services such as transportation, packing, and crating. The Art Handler must have a clear understanding of fine art handling practices as well as the ability handle a wide array of high end household items including but not limited to furniture, mirrors, rugs etc.
