Grounds For Sculpture is seeking a temporary, part-time, AV Tech to join our team. The AV Tech will be responsible to ensure the smooth running of Night Forms, a light and sound installation, which will include test walkthroughs each evening Thursday- Sunday; availability for troubleshooting onsite during run of program; shutting down procedures at the end of the nightly program.  Hours are 3:30-9:00pm Thursday – Sunday through February 27; 4:30-9:30pm Thursday – Sunday March 3-12; 5:30-10:30pm Thursday – Sunday March 13-April 3 .  Hourly rate is $30 for a maximum of 25 hours/week.

The department of Interpretation at the Philadelphia Museum of Art seeks a full time Collections Interpreter. Charged with the task of making art engaging and accessible to a broad audience, the department of Interpretation oversees all interpretation initiatives for both special exhibitions and the museum’s permanent collection. Reporting to the Head of Interpretation, the Collections Interpreter participates in all aspects of the interpretive process for particular projects. This can include, but is not limited to, the writing of interpretive plans, reviewing labels, developing new interpretive tools and technologies, and conducting audience research. The Collections Interpreter works closely with curators, editors, educators, designers, and the interactive team, among others, to shape interpretation across the institution.
