Assistant Public Art Director
Creative Philadelphia seeks a full-time Assistant Public Art Director who will assist and support the Public Art Director and the Chief Cultural Officer on various initiatives within the City of Philadelphia’s Public Art program such as the commissioning of permanent public art projects, and developing programs centered around the City’s public art collection. The City of Philadelphia’s public art collection is one of the City’s greatest assets. Located in indoor and outdoor spaces throughout every neighborhood in the city, Philadelphia’s public art reflects its rich history, diverse communities, and long-standing commitment to the arts.

Preparator
The Preparator reports to the Director of Registration and Exhibition Management. The Preparator will have particular responsibility for the deinstallation, reinstallation, handling, movement, and packing of objects and collection materials on all locations of the Barnes Foundation, offsite storage, and Calder Gardens. They will participate in the planning, installation and deinstallation of temporary special exhibitions and displays. The Preparator will work with the conservation team on preventive conservation duties, such as collections housekeeping, monitoring of collection contacts, and relamping of lights in collection areas. They will participate as a member of the Collections and Exhibitions division under the direction of the Vice President of Art and Education and Gund Family Chief Curator.
Porter
Porters are responsible for providing efficient, quality service to the Museum’s guests and staff. Porters monitor and ensure the clean appearance and sanitization of the Museum including but not limited to the galleries, restrooms, back-of-house, offices, outside grounds, and parking lot. Porters must maintain a clean and safe environment at a level that promotes high guest satisfaction. This position reports to the Manager, Custodial Services.
This position is part of the AFSCME Local 397 bargaining unit.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Executive Assistant to the President & CEO
Executive Assistant (EA), to President and CEO manages the strategic administrative functions, and is responsible for the operational effectiveness, of the office of the President and CEO. The EA provides both everyday administrative support as well as special project support to the President & CEO and acts as an ambassador and first point of contact for the Museum to key constituencies such as its staff, Board of Directors, partners, and the public.

The Financial Officer reports to the director of advancement. This individual provides financial oversight and reporting for advancement activities. This position tracks funding streams, monitors donor-related revenue, and ensures compliance with financial protocols.

The Creative Content Associate creates and edits all print and digital content (social media, video, graphics) to promote Quintessence and its productions. This position works with the Artistic Director, Executive Director, Marketing Manager and Brand Manager to set the strategic vision and production of all visual and written materials across digital, print, and video platforms.
