The Development & Marketing Officer (D&M Officer) will play a key role in advancing the mission of the Pennsbury Society by planning and executing coordinated fundraising and marketing strategies. With a slightly stronger emphasis on fundraising, this role focuses on expanding donor support, securing funding opportunities, and promoting public engagement through marketing and communications. Marketing and PR efforts will be designed to complement and support fundraising initiatives and program visibility.

Pay Range: Non-exempt, $25 per hour (20 hours per week)

WXPN is looking for a creative and energetic individual to work with potential corporate sponsors for music programming and digital assets. Candidate will spend time both in and outside the office prospecting for new business by building relationships with potential partners and work closely with our marketing, events and music programming departments as necessary. They will be expected to meet established sales and collections goals, manage current accounts to ensure timely collection and to increase renewal revenue. They will attend staff meetings, industry conferences when appropriate, and networking events. Compensation for this position is commission versus draw, with an initial six month guarantee.

They will oversee editorial, video production, and web development teams to ensure digital content aligns with the organization’s broader goals, KPIs, mission, and brand. They will also manage social media strategies.
This position requires strong leadership skills, cross-departmental collaboration, and the ability to strategically align content creation with the needs of the programming, marketing and revenue departments. The Digital Content Manager will lead a team, develop and manage workflows, and actively participate in content production.
