Glen Foerd is seeking a Seasonal, Part-Time Event Supervisor to oversee the historic property during private, catered events and to provide oversight of all Visitor Services Assistants (VSA’s). The Event Supervisor will report to the Business Manager.   More details on work hours can be found below.

 

The Event Supervisor handles all issues with the facility that may arise during the event. At the end of the night, the Event Supervisor locks up and ensures that the mansion and grounds are closed. Because the Event Supervisor is the only Glen Foerd staff on-site during evening events, he/she must be reliable, independent, and have a strong attention to detail. As the manager on-site, the Event Supervisor ensures that the rental client, catering staff and all third-party vendors always adhere to Glen Foerd’s policies and procedures, including clean-up and noise level requirements. As such, Event Supervisors must be self-confident and comfortable addressing issues directly.
