About this Internship:

The LEDC Arts and Community Internship Program will offer the experience of working in a nonprofit organization focusing on arts and community. Internships are designed primarily for undergraduate and graduate students, although open to anyone with a strong desire and commitment. Interns will work closely with LEDC staff and will be involved with regular activities as well as special projects as needed.

The Science History Institute has several openings for part-time Conference Services Assistants. We are looking for dedicated, high-energy candidates who have catering, hospitality, or event services experience. The Conference Services Assistant is a hands-on, frontline person responsible for providing a high-quality experience for our clients attending events at our state-of-the art facility. Duties include room sets, food service and display, and clean-up and break-down of events.

PlayArts: After School Program Staff (Part-Time)

Make a difference in the lives of children through arts-based learning! Join PlayArts in Northeast Philadelphia to provide engaging arts and enrichment programming to children after school, fostering creativity in a supportive and inclusive work environment!

Join PlayArts' substitute teacher list and provide flexible, on-call support for our PlayLoud AfterSchool program in Philadelphia!

Responsibilities: Supervise and engage with elementary-aged children in arts activities and outdoor play, maintain a safe and orderly classroom, and follow lesson goals.

Qualifications:

House Managers are the primary points of contact for audience members attending all performances and events at Drexel University’s Mandell Theater and URBN Annex Black Box Theater.  House Managers deliver exemplary customer service, while ensuring both the success of every event as well as the safety of patrons.

Theater Technicians play vital production roles on all performances and events at Drexel University’s Mandell Theater and URBN Annex Black Box Theater.

Theater Event Supervisors play a vital supervisorial, technical, and customer service role in the execution of all performances and events at Drexel University’s Mandell Theater and URBN Annex Black Box Theater.

We are looking for directors for two of our fall/winter productions: Newsies JR and Annie KIDS.

Director for Newsies JR for grades 5th & 6th from September -  January on Tuesdays from 5PM - 7PM.
