Digital Marketing (60%)

  • Maintain YA’s social media presence: Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns for various departments within YA
  • Manage content calendar while providing consistent messaging and brand voice across all channels
  • Maintain email marketing automation system (Constant Contact) to create and deploy targeted email campaigns
  • Collaborate with Director of Marketing and PR to evaluate social media and email marketing analytics to identify areas of improvement.
  • Ensure marketing is inclusive, and accessible in line with YA Arts United goals and values
  • Manage paid Google search and display advertising

Website (30%)

  • Update website as needed, in collaboration with Director of Marketing and PR
  • Occasionally build landing pages
  • Upload images and videos to enhance website design
  • Work collaboratively with the team on a website redesign

Contribute to YA Initiatives (10%)

  • Contribute to Young Audiences’ ongoing efforts to improve in relation to diversity, equity, inclusion and access, according to YA’s Arts United Plan
  • Participate in organization-wide fundraising events and efforts
  • Other duties to contribute to YA’s organizational goals as assigned

Essential Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in arts or education marketing or in a related role
  • Proficiency in social media platforms, email marketing tools and graphic design software (We use Canva most frequently)
  • Enthusiasm, creative thinking, and vision for amplifying organizational positioning and messaging
  • An eye for detail and attention to brand voice; experience proofreading and editing
  • Creative thinker who enjoys storytelling and content creation
  • Skill with synthesizing data (Google and Facebook Analytics, sales results, email campaign stats, etc.) to drive decisions and strategy a plus, with an opportunity to learn more on the job
  • Experience with Canva, Sprout Social, Constant Contact and Microsoft Suite preferred 
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, Google Analytics, Google Ads, video editing and Salesforce a plus

Additional Information:

  • Hybrid role, based out of our Princeton, NJ office. During provisional employment period of the first three months, additional in office time will be required. After provisional period, one day per week in office will be required.
  • YA Office hours are 8:30-4:30, M-F to accommodate our school-based focus.
  • Visits to our in-school programs may be needed. The ability to travel to schools and events within our service region of New Jersey and Eastern PA is required. Mileage is reimbursed at prevailing IRS rate, currently .70 per mile.

This position requires significant computer usage for email communications, Zoom/Teams meetings, interoffice communications on Teams, and data entry.
