Philadelphia Theatre Company (PTC) seeks friendly and efficient Concessions Managers to provide exceptional service to patrons and contribute to a vibrant, welcoming lobby environment. The role supports the overall FOH experience by maintaining an engaging and professional bar service while ensuring compliance with all food and beverage standards.

Concessions Managers are part of the FOH team and play an important role in representing PTC’s hospitality values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service
    • Provide prompt, courteous service and engage patrons with enthusiasm and care.
    • Contribute to a positive, organized, and safe lobby atmosphere that enhances the patron experience.
  • Bar & Concessions Operations
    • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in compliance with RAMP and ServSafe standards.
    • Maintain a clean and efficient bar area before, during, and after service.
    • Accurately process sales and handle cash using Square; complete nightly reconciliation reports.
    • Monitor patron consumption responsibly and alert the FOH Manager to any safety or behavioral concerns.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Communicate actively with FOH Managers and Box Office staff to ensure seamless patron service.
    • Support setup and breakdown of concession areas and lobby materials as needed.
    • Uphold PTC’s standards of professionalism, hospitality, and inclusivity in all interactions.
       

Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Previous bartending or concessions experience preferred.
  • Current RAMP and/or ServSafe certification preferred (training available through PTC).
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.

Compensation

This is a part-time position with an hourly rate of $54/shift plus tips; paid bi-weekly.

Work Schedule and Location

All shifts take place at the Suzanne Roberts Theatre (480 S Broad St, Philadelphia, PA 19146). The schedule is flexible according to the needs of the FOH team, but regular availability in the evenings Tuesday - Friday and all day Saturday and Sunday is required.
