We want you to bring your currency to our bank.
The Ministry of Awe is a new, ever-evolving immersive art experience in Philadelphia, housed inside a transformed 19th-century bank and reimagined as a surreal world where the only true currency is the human spirit. Every interaction is an invitation to wonder, play, and discover.
We are currently seeking freewheeling creatives to join our MoA Ensemble — performers who can help guests navigate the unexpected with warmth, curiosity, humor, and improvisational skill.
POSITION
Immersive Performer
Non-union — $25/hour (24-40 hours)
Start date June 1st, 2026.
WE'RE LOOKING FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE:
Positive and professional
Seeking reliable ongoing work
Desire to play within an ensemble
Outgoing and committed to creating fun, memorable experiences
Skilled in improvisational performance techniques
Comfortable engaging directly with guests and adapting in the moment
Backgrounds in clowning, immersive theater, physical comedy, character work, circus arts, live performance, or interactive entertainment encouraged
Able to take part in the “School of Awe” training on May 26th, 27th, 28th (all dates not required)
GROUP AUDITIONS (must attend one of the following)
May 21 — 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM OR
May 22 — 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM

Auditions will include:
Group improvisation exercises
Guest interaction scenarios
Movement/play-based activities
Opportunities to showcase your unique performance style and personality individually
Come prepared to collaborate, take risks, and have fun.
