We have been making cool innovative, upcycled products for over 20 years and our customers range from small independent retailers to large-scale event planners and major music industry accounts. Our love for music, vinyl and well-designed products is at the heart of our business. Vinylux has been recognized for its commitment to environmentally responsible production and we are committed to sustainable manufacturing practices, using minimal packaging, and repurposing over 30 tons of records every year!
Vinylux is looking to hire a full-time workshop assistant to work in a hands-on environment. You will assist in creating our unique line of products, including fabrication, assembly, and packaging. The ideal candidate has art/design training, with prior experience in a fabrication/production environment. We provide on-the-job training, and you will find an opportunity to work with unique equipment, materials, and processes including CNC routers, laser cutting, vinyl cutters, strip benders, thermoforming, and laminating machines. Our workshop culture is calm and steady - we work hard to create our carefully crafted products, at a steady and reasonable pace. An ability to follow detailed instructions, communicate clearly, work efficiently and semi-independently is essential. There is a paid 45 minute lunch break every day! Work hours are 9:30 - 5:30 M-F.
