Job Description
The American Swedish Historical Museum is seeking an outgoing and friendly team member to manage all aspects of the Museum’s operations and customer service needs on the weekends including serving at the Admissions Desk and Gift Shop. Weekend Managers also serve as ASHM staff representatives during rental events, supervising building safety and security and providing customer service to guests attending.

Summary

The Guest Services Manager for The Philadelphia Orchestra and Ensemble Arts reports to the Associate Director of Audience Experience. This position is a direct reporting manager for part-time, unionized usher staff at the organization’s three historic venues: the Kimmel Center, the Miller Theater, and the Academy of Music.

House Managers are the primary points of contact for audience members attending all performances and events at Drexel University’s Mandell Theater and URBN Annex Black Box Theater.  House Managers deliver exemplary customer service, while ensuring both the success of every event as well as the safety of patrons.

Theater Technicians play vital production roles on all performances and events at Drexel University’s Mandell Theater and URBN Annex Black Box Theater.

Theater Event Supervisors play a vital supervisorial, technical, and customer service role in the execution of all performances and events at Drexel University’s Mandell Theater and URBN Annex Black Box Theater. 

The Pennsbury Society (501 C 3) at Pennsbury Manor Historic site seeks qualified applicants for our entry level Museum Assistant position.  Duties involve providing school and daily tours, front desk operations, light custodial and office work, and serving as part of a team at this accredited museum. Applicants should have a degree in a related field (such as History or Education) or comparable experience. This position is full-time and paid through the Pennsbury Society. Benefits are included as well as paid vacation and sick leave.

Required duties:

The Engagement Manager serves as the senior staff member who oversees all aspects of the marketing and front of house departments and the financial responsibilities associated with them. Serves as the leader for ushers, box office and concessions staff members to best serve the audiences who come through the door, and is the staff member who is ensuring a hospitable, smooth and efficient guest relation experience via phone, in-person transactions and email. Hires appropriate Box Office associates, coordinates ushers for events, and concessions staff.
