The Chestnut Hill Conservancy (CH Conservancy) is a local land trust, historic preservation advocate, archive, and educational center, concentrating on the Wissahickon watershed communities of Philadelphia and Montgomery Counties.
CH Conservancy seeks a full-time Programs and Communications Manager (PC Manager) to illustrate the importance and vulnerability of the area’s natural and built environment and share its diversity of histories, while shaping the Conservancy’s public presence and amplifying its impact. The PC Manager oversees education and engagement of the Conservancy’s audiences; extends the organization’s reach; and bolsters its credibility as the go-to resource for information on area architecture, open space, histories, and sustainable practices. The position has two main mission-critical responsibilities – creating engaging, informative, mission-related public programming (40% of job), and communicating information and Conservancy impact (60%).
