Primary Function: The Guest and Protection Services Senior Specialist plays a key role in front-line operations by providing the team with constant visual surveillance information and access control to help provide an exceptional guest and staff experience, as well as to ensure the safety and protection of the art collection and the Foundation’s buildings and grounds. The Senior Specialist provides a best-in-class experience to every person who works in and visits our institution. This includes engaging guests in conversation about the art collection and the Foundations history, answering questions, enforcing rules, looking out for suspicious behavior, and maintaining the integrity of our back of house spaces and processes. Merion Friends Meeting is in search of an individual or couple to serve as caretaker/s for its 1695 National Historic Landmark Meetinghouse and 2-acre site located in Merion Station. The caretaker/s will provide landscaping, housekeeping, cleaning, and maintenance for the entire property, including the Meeting House, Friends Hall, Caretaker’s House, out-buildings, horse sheds, and burial ground. The caretaker/s receives rent-free housing (excluding utilities) in a 3-1/2-bedroom, 2-bathroom 1805 house located in the Lower Merion Township School District. 

Brief Job Overview/Summary

Under the supervision of the Director of the Stockton University Performing Arts Center (SUPAC), the Technical Coordinator oversees technical aspects of the Theater Program within the School of Arts and Humanities (ARHU) as assigned. This position works collaboratively with other Technical Coordinators to organize assigned work, develop appropriate methods for meeting goals and objectives, and design and implement improvements to support the diverse needs of the SUPAC, including mainstage performances, performing arts programs, educational programs, outreach initiatives, university events, and venue rentals. The Technical Coordinator may work in venues such as the Performing Arts Center, Experimental Theater, Campus Center Theater, and Alton Auditorium.

This position is responsible for daily systems operations of the building including repairs and/or replacement of various building-related mechanical, electrical, plumbing, control systems, air handling units, and heat exchangers. Receives and responds to service calls, takes immediate action to resolve emergency situations and system breakdowns. Manages and monitors HVAC controls, emergency systems (e.g., fire, smoke, security), lighting systems, electrical, and plumbing.
