The Event Specialist is responsible for ensuring that rentals of museum facilities are executed in a superlative, safe and well managed way. This is achieved by providing extraordinary customer service for renters and their guests while also ensuring the safety of attendees and the museum’s resources.  The Event Specialist will serve as the point person for all events beginning with set up, continuing through the event itself and ending as the last person to leave the building following clean-up. During events, the ES will actively monitor all components to ensure adherence to Independence Seaport Museum rental policies.  This position will also entail a high degree of accuracy in the ordering and inventory of liquor.

The Museum Store Manager will ensure, either by their own actions or those of store employees/volunteers, a positive, knowledgeable and welcoming customer experience for Museum visitors.  The Museum Store Manager creates and implements merchandising strategies that complement the mission and programs of the Independence Seaport Museum and proactively supporting the shop’s daily operations. This position plays an integral role in achieving stores sales targets and meeting budgetary goals. City Year Philadelphia is seeking an Individual Giving Manager (IGM) who is responsible for supporting the overall efforts of the Individual Giving team.  The IGM partners with Site Leadership and the Development team to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward individual donors and family foundations. The IGM’s focus will be on engaging individual donors under $10,000 through campaigns, donor communications, and developing and executing cultivation and stewardship events and activities.  The IGM will also provide staff leadership to the Associate Board of young professionals.
