CraftNOW Philadelphia

Are you passionate about the arts and community impact? Do you believe in the transformative power of creativity and culture? CraftNOW Philadelphia, a Philadelphia based 510(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to uniting, supporting and celebrating the craft community, is seeking new board members to help guide our vision and expand our reach.

Who We’re Looking For:

We are seeking committed individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences who are eager to support craft and the creative economy in Philadelphia. Whether you are a professional in finance, law, marketing, education, technology, or a working artist or arts advocate — your perspective is valuable. Our goal is to build a board with a wide range of skills and real-world experience.

We especially welcome applicants who:

Have experience in nonprofit governance or a willingness to learn
 

Represent communities historically underrepresented in the arts
 

Are enthusiastic about fundraising, strategic planning, community engagement and the power of the crafts and culture to to drive social change and community growth

 

Responsibilities:

Attend quarterly board meetings (virtually or in-person) and a yearly board retreat
 

Participate in at least one board committee
 

Contribute to fundraising efforts, including donor outreach and event support
 

Serve as an ambassador for CraftNOW in the community
 

Commit to a 3 year term
