Commonwealth Youthchoirs, Inc. (CY) seeks a dynamic leader who will take the organization and its established musical and administrative staff into its third decade.

Founded in 2001, Commonwealth Youthchoirs, Inc. (CY) is a non-profit, community-based, non-denominational 501(c)(3) arts organization headquartered in the Northwest neighborhoods of Philadelphia. CY operates three distinct programs that nurture a love of singing and a desire for excellence in nearly 500 primary and secondary students in the greater Philadelphia region. Under the supervision of Fleisher’s Manager of Children & Youth Education, the Summer Camp Coordinator provides logistical support for Fleisher’s 2023 Summer Camp and After Camp Club. During the term, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM this position will provide support during lunch, class transitions, and class activities. From 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM this position be the point person and administrator of the “After Camp Club” for campers staying until 5:30 PM.  

This position requires a highly organized person with experience working with children 5 - 12. The ideal candidate would have excellent visitor service skills as well as a flexible working style. This position would work onsite from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, from June 5 to July 28. This includes a mandatory training session for staff and faculty on Wednesday, June 14 from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM. 

Arts Holding Hands and Hearts (AHHAH) www.ahhah.org, a 501c3 non-profit 

is looking for trauma informed teaching artists to facilitate workshops with youth who are incarcerated in Chester County and facilitate after school workshops in Coatesville, Kennett Square, Phoenixville, and Oxford.

Role:

PlayArts is seeking teacher candidates for our school-age PlayLoud AfterSchool program for the 2023-24 school year. Our program takes places offsite in 3 locations in Fishtown: Adaire Elementary, Hackett Elementary, and Moffet Elementary.

Historic Fair Hill is a nonprofit that stewards a 5 acre site, supports community revitalization projects, and serves as a school partner in the School District of Philadelphia.

Role:

PlayArts is seeking teacher candidates for our school-age Play Loud AfterSchool program. Our program takes places offsite in 2 locations in Fishtown: Moffet Elementary and Hackett Elementary.

The Executive Director (ED) will partner with Founding Artistic Director John Jarboe, The Bearded Ladies staff, Associate Artists, and the larger community in shaping the next phase of The Bearded Ladies Cabaret. They will lead The Bearded Ladies in community building, resource development and allocation, and strategic planning. The ED will manage staff and facilities, and partner with the Artistic Director on program strategy and the long-term growth of the organization.
