Darlington Arts Center (DAC) was founded in 1978 on the unique vision of including all four arts disciplines–music, visual arts, dance, and drama– in one space with an emphasis on multi-disciplinary programming. DAC has served the Delaware and Chester counties and Delaware State communities for over 40 years by fostering programs that provide possibilities and opportunities through the exploration of multi-disciplinary arts. Al-Bustan News is seeking talented and motivated reporters and storytellers to join our team for a six-month Journalism Fellowship. Fellows produce outstanding, original reporting, written features and multimedia content covering Arab American and Southwest Asian and North African (SWANA) communities in Philadelphia and surrounding areas. 

The Computer & Network Support Technician assist in the performance of the daily duties of PTM users regarding computers, software, network technology and the operation of audio-visual equipment. Reporting to the Senior Director, Security & IT Operations, the technician(s) in this position share technology responsibilities for support of the Museum’s computers, network devices, projectors, TV’s, printers, cameras, and other department technology equipment. Tasks will include user support, computer and network maintenance and audio-visual setup and monitoring for events.

The Director of Development Operations provides direction and oversight within the Advancement team, focused on building the institution’s capacity for growing philanthropic revenue. As a practical and strategic thought-partner with the Chief Advancement Officer, this critical position helps set and achieve revenue goals, creates learning and growth opportunities for team members, proactively manages timelines and projects, and strengthens opportunities for cross-departmental function, thereby assuring excellence in all aspects of development operations.

Marketing & Communications Associate is an 8 hour per week role reporting to the founder. This position is ideal for a recent college graduate who wants to learn the ins and outs of independent film production, festival distribution, and impact campaigns. The role offers direct mentorship, opportunities for professional growth, and potential advancement to producer or impact producer roles. We recognize this is a small role but the aim is for this position to grow.

Visitor Experience Assistants (VEAs) welcome visitors to the Museum and engage with children and families in the exhibits, facilitating positive play-based learning experiences. Visitor Experience Assistants provide customer service throughout the Museum floor through their knowledge of daily programming, Museum exhibits, ticketing/membership offerings, and wayfinding.

As the producer of the Philadelphia Film Festival and creative force behind the Film Society Center, Film Society Bourse, and Film Society East, the Philadelphia Film Society (PFS) raises awareness of film as an important art form in Philadelphia and serves as a vital piece of the city’s arts and culture community.

The Program Intern will work closely with the Director of Programs, Program Manager, and Education Manager to support the day-to-day operations of Art-Reach’s core programs. This intern will play an active role in supporting Art-Reach’s community programs that serve the disability and low-income communities, as well as our education programs that provide professional development to arts and cultural workers.
