About the position

PhillyCAM seeks a person who is passionate about the importance of community media production and moving resources to communities most often marginalized in the field of media arts. The Director of Development and Partnerships will be someone with proven success in fundraising from individuals, foundations and government agencies. Since relationship building is fundamental to all fundraising efforts, the ideal candidate will also be a people person who enjoys connecting with a wide range of people throughout our city at forums, screenings and other events. The person should also be a systems thinker and familiar with managing a database and collecting quantitative data organization-wide to strengthen the stories of PhillyCAM’s impact. This is a new position at the organization and has guaranteed funding for at least two years. 

This position will report directly to the Executive Director and work collaboratively with program and administrative staff.

Girls First is currently seeking a Dance Teaching Artist for our Outreach afterschool programming in Chester on Thursdays between the hours of 3:30-5:30pm.  Lessons are in-person at our Outreach partner locations.

Position: Part-time Student Services Assistant

Reports to: Branch Manager, Mary Louise Curtis Branch

Position Overview

Settlement is looking for a part-time Student Services Assistant at our Mary Louise Curtis Branch. The Student Services Assistant is the first to greet our students, families, and teachers, and must provide exemplary customer service. They also help maintain a safe and secure environment by monitoring the entrance doors, directing visitors to appropriate areas of the branch, maintaining guest logs, and notifying appropriate staff or teachers of arrivals, student absences, etc. Further, they maintain a working knowledge of all branch offerings and programs, and answers questions in a prompt and courteous manner. Other duties include general office administration, such as taking payments from students and data entry as well as calendar management for branch leadership.

Temporary Museum Learning Educators execute multi-faceted educational programs, experiences, and events in the Museum, and offsite with activities for young children, their families, and group, including nontraditional museum audiences and/or underserved populations.   Temporary Educators implement programs in the visual and performing arts, STEM, history, social-emotional learning, and early childhood education in a variety of exhibits and studio spaces. Temporary Educators will lead daily programming, facilitate exhibit experiences, and provide excellent customer service.

The Assistant Manager, Group Sales will be responsible for maintaining and generating school, youth, camp, affinity, corporate, adult, and tour and travel group experiences at the Museum.  This position will act as a representative of the Museum to these groups and support the Museums commitment to provide excellent customer service and operational support to deliver outstanding Museum experiences.

Leadership Responsibilities:

The position is part of a dance teaching team, supporting the lead dance instructor. Responsibilities include leading warm-ups, creating and refining choreography, and collaborating on learning objectives and lesson development. Studio Incamminati, School for Contemporary Realist Art, is a higher education institution offering traditional art training in painting, drawing, and sculpture for today’s artists and creatives. Located in the Bok Building in South Philadelphia, Studio Incamminati (SI) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that offers workshops, night classes and drop-in classes, as well as educational partnerships and outreach programs. SI seeks a proactive, detail-oriented, and personable Office Administrator to support our vibrant arts community. As a first point of contact for students, faculty, visiting artists, and guests, you will contribute to fostering a collaborative and creative environment. This position is key to ensuring the efficient operation of the school and supporting academic and programmatic initiatives.

The Deputy Director is the head of the programs department and manages the grantmaking initiatives at the Foundation. The Deputy Director (DD) reports to the Executive Director (ED); supervises the Program Assistant and Residency Coordinator; and works collaboratively with other staff, board, consultants, and volunteers. They work closely with the Executive Director (ED) and serve as a thought partner for the ED and other colleagues in the organization regarding strategic design and implementation strategies to achieve the Foundation’s goals.
