Reader's Theater Playwright

Allens Lane Art Center's Reader's Theater program provides production space, tools, and a stipend for playwrights and directors to produce a professional-grade reading of your work. Staged readings include lighting, mild staging, and stands for the scripts.  They do not usually include props or set dressing. Our process also recommends no more than 10 hours of rehearsals, scheduled by your director and there is a small stipend for the playwright and director. 

The position comes with a $100.00 stipend for the writer and director.
