This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in making things work well behind the scenes. You’re someone who enjoys bringing structure to complex programs—coordinating schedules, communicating with partners, managing logistics, and making sure important details don’t fall through the cracks.

Experience working with incarcerated or formerly incarcerated communities is recommended. What matters most is your ability to stay organized, communicate with care and respect, and support programs that center dignity, creativity, and opportunity for people whose voices are often overlooked.

What You’ll Do

* Your job is to ensure programs are planned, approved, and delivered without disruption.

That includes

* Confirming teaching artist logistics and materials

* Coordinating teaching schedules and securing facility approvals

* Management of programming calendar and related public/private events

* Travel to SCI Phoenix in Phoenixville twice per month and work from our Philadelphia office (915 Spring Garden Street) the remainder of the time.

What Success Looks Like

* Programs meet stated objectives and goals

* Artists are prepared to lead structured programs

* Personnel and supply orders are approved in advance and compliant with the facility’s requirements

* Establish positive relationships with stakeholders to advance the program objectives What We’re Looking For:

* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

* Comfort working independently and making coordination decisions

* Professional, steady communication style

* Experience facilitating de-escalation training and meetings

* Experience in project coordination, operations, events, or administrative roles

* Reliable transportation to Phoenixville, PA

* Ability to pass the correctional facility’s background check (required)

* Experience in nonprofit, arts, or institutional settings is helpful but not required
