Philadelphia Theatre Company is looking for a Production Assistant to join the team of the world premiere of The Tattooed Lady. The Production Assistant will work with the production and stage management team and is responsible for providing operational support during pre-production, rehearsals, tech, and previews. Travel and housing will not be provided.

Part-time virtual marketer needed to promote popular public speaker. 10 hours weekly. $25 per hour. Work from home. Background or appreciation of classical music is helpful. Charismatic and organized representative will contact retirement centers and learning institutions via telephone, email and snail mail to build a list of prospective host venues. Marketer will also make initial personal contacts with activities directors. Resume and references required. The project is expected to run two-three months with possibly some further work hours as needed.

The Development Position at Philadelphia Boys and Girls Choirs (PBGC) is designed to advance PBGC’s mission of inspiring boys and girls of all ages to strive for excellence through music as participants in its choirs and vocal conservatory. Arden Theatre Company’s Front of House Associate is responsible for assisting Box Office, House Management, and Front of House operations for the Company. The Front of House Associate will be trained in both Box Office and House Management and be responsible for assisting with day to day box office and house management operations including ticketing, patron safety and experience, Will Call, and stewardship of theater and lobby spaces.

Portside is seeking Teaching Assistants to work with our minnows classroom (grades Pre-K and Kindergarten), our Sharks classroom (grades 1 and 2), and our Pirates classroom (grades 3, 4 and 5).  The Portside’s After School Arts Program introduces children to the fundamentals of arts education through a hands-on visual arts curriculum. The program incorporates components of socialization and homework assistance with a large dose of play. Our kids are fun, creative, thoughtful and excited to be at our center.  

We are currently seeking part-time Lead Teachers to work with us for the duration of the Philadelphia School District’s academic year. Our Lead Teachers work Monday - Friday, between 3:00 and 6:15 PM. Teachers with weeklong availability are preferred, but those with alternate schedules will also be considered. Additional hours may also be offered to work during our half and full-day camps throughout the year.

All applicants must have a passion for art and experience working with groups of children in an instructional setting.
