Assistant Audio Supervisor/ Lead A1

 

This is a full-time exempt position reporting directly to the Production Manager with a work week consisting of at least 40 working hours, built around a performance schedule. Duties of the position will evolve as the organization and its needs evolve. 

 

The Assistant Audio Supervisor is primarily responsible for running the sound console for all BCP produced and presented shows and events but will also assist the Interim Audio Supervisor in overseeing all audio elements of the production process, including but not limited to load-in, load-out and supervising audio crew during a show’s run.

 

Position Responsibilities:

 

  • Assist the Interim Audio Supervisor in the daily operations of the Audio Department, including the planning and execution of all load-in/outs, strikes and change overs.
  • Supervise all audio crew during performance run on behalf of Interim Audio Supervisor
  • Help to oversee and maintain house audio inventory as well as house PA and other installed audio and video systems
  • Operate the sound console, audio/effects playback, and oversee pre-show and post-show checks and operations as assigned by and in conjunction with the Audio Supervisor for:
    • Technical Rehearsals and Performance Runs for all BCP Produced and Presented Shows
  • Work closely with other Full Time Production Staff members and with other show run crew members to ensure the smooth running of all BCP productions and maintain a safe and productive working environment.

 

The position is allotted 10 days of paid time off in addition to statutory holidays as outlined by the company annually.
