Kismet Cowork has an exciting opportunity for a motivated Community Associate to join our team. The Community Associate will be the ‘hands on’ coordination lead for a coworking site.  The Community Associate will report to the Executive Director of Kismet and assist in supervising operations, assist in event logistics, and provide day to day support and services for our growing membership.  This person is the first contact person when visiting Kismet, you will need to be proactive and outgoing. We are looking for the right person to embrace our fast paced environment and vibrant community.

Community Associate Responsibilities 

As a Community Associate, during your scheduled hours, you will manage the daily activity at Kismet and act as the primary contact for members:

Supervise hospitality and amenity services daily for the co-working site.

Conduct tours, build membership pipeline, screen potential members.

Onboard new members.

Coordinate with other staff to manage calendar and logistics for programming and events on site.

Vet external space usage requests (meetings, events) and present to Managing Partner for approval.

Ensure daily and emergency cleaning and maintenance.

Track and report space usage.

Inventory and ensure availability of supplies; order as needed. Resupply coworking site amenities as needed.

Provide support to members and guests during events

Essential Requirements

1-3 years previous experience in a similar role or an equivalent role in the hospitality industry or in office management. Scholastic or internship roles considered relevant.

Completed Studies in business, marketing or related field.

Demonstrated superior written and oral communication skills.

Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work unsupervised for long periods of time.

Experience with CRM.

Highly organized and able to balance daily demands with strategic deadlines.

Technologically savvy.
