The Science History Institute is currently recruiting for the full-time (35 hours per week) position of Program Associate, Center for Oral History. The Program Associate will focus on the maintenance and growth of the Institute’s oral history collection. Work includes processing audio/video recordings and transcripts; communication with interviewees; planning interviews for ongoing and future research projects; ingesting materials donated to the Institute; and other tasks associated with creating and preserving these primary source materials.

The Production Manager, reporting to the Temple Performing Art Center (TPAC) General Manager will take a lead role in determining the proficient and efficient execution of all production elements of Temple Performing Arts Center, ensuring the highest industry standards are met in the areas of audio, visual technology, and customer service.

Visitor Experience Assistants (VEAs) welcome visitors to the Museum and engage with children and families in the exhibits, facilitating positive play-based learning experiences. Visitor Experience Assistants provide customer service throughout the Museum floor through their knowledge of daily programming, Museum exhibits, ticketing/membership offerings, and wayfinding.

The Assistant Librarian is a part-time position that reports to the Librarian. As part of a small but committed staff, the part-time Librarian is responsible for the circulating library during our weekend and evening hours. This is a wonderful entry-level opportunity for MS/MLS graduates or those enrolled in a master’s program in library science. MS or MLS from an ALA accredited program or library students only please.

Walnut Street Theatre (WST) in Philadelphia is seeking an experienced Head Flyperson. WST is a historic building with a hemp fly system. Primary responsibilities include: safely loading in all flown scenery and electrics, running technical rehearsals and performances, and maintaining the fly system. Ideal candidate will have extensive rigging experience, knowledge of knots and ropes, and be accustomed to running fly systems for live theatrical performances. Candidate will work closely with designers, management, and other onstage departments. This is a full-time, seasonal, IATSE position.
