We are currently seeking a Membership Advisor to grow our network of business leaders and investors. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional who thrives on helping businesses connect, grow, and succeed. As a Membership Advisor, you will play a key role in increasing Chamber membership through outreach, engagement, and strategic networking.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Proactively identifying and engaging prospective member companies.
- Building relationships with local business owners, executives, and entrepreneurs.
- Conducting outbound prospecting efforts.
- Aligning business needs with Chamber programs and services.
- Attending and leveraging Chamber events to develop new member leads.
- Managing all membership sales activities through a CRM system.
- Consistently exceeding membership acquisition goals.
The Ideal Candidate Has:
- Has 3+ years of sales, business development, or membership recruitment experience.
- Excels at networking, relationship-building, and business development.
- Is a confident communicator and natural connector.
- Is organized, self-motivated, and goal-oriented.
- Lives in the Greater Philadelphia area.
- Has reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

Work Conditions
The Chamber is currently working in a hybrid work environment that allows for a flexible work schedule, while requiring employees to work in-person at least two days each week. When on-site, this individual will work in a typical office environment. On a standard workday, the majority of time is spent sitting at a desk, using the computer and speaking on the phone. However, at times, this role will be required to attend Chamber events or related outside meetings/events on behalf of the Chamber. These meetings/events may take place outside of regular business hours and outside of center city Philadelphia.
Compensation
Base salary with commission on sales results; estimated annual earning potential of $90,000-150,000.
