Summer positions at Marlboro Music - Vermont

Marlboro Music

The originating organization of the Philadelphia Chamber Music Society, Marlboro Music is widely considered to be the world’s leading center for the in-depth exploration of chamber music. Under the artistic leadership of pianists Mitsuko Uchida and Jonathan Biss, each summer in southern Vermont, some 80 musicians of diverse ages and backgrounds live together with staff members, spouses, and children, forming one large and nurturing musical community.

Summer employment is available for various positions, including coffee shop manager, housekeeper, lifeguard, and event coordinator. All positions include a substantial stipend, a single room on campus, and all meals. Throughout the summer, staff members work 5.5 to 6 days per week, ensuring that the festival runs smoothly, while enjoying much of the music, the social events, the unique community, and the beautiful Vermont countryside. Must be available June 12-August 26. For more information about available roles as well as an application form, visit our website at marlboromusic.org/contact/summer-employment.
