The Wagner Free Institute of Science seeks a full time Museum Educator. This position works as part of the Education Department to plan and implement museum-based programming including lessons for school groups, Saturday programs, and college/adult tours. Responsibilities include leading and scheduling field trips for school and other community groups and coordinating visits for college and adult groups. The Museum Educator is one of the public-facing positions at the Wagner that helps supervise visitor services and assists with visitor engagement, in addition to leading the museum’s scheduled group visits. The position works closely with the Director of Children’s Education and other education staff on the planning of special events and development of new programming. They collaborate with staff across the institution including collections and museum staff, to support program delivery and promotion.

Primary Function: The Director of Development Services collaborates with the Deputy Director for Advancement and development leadership staff in the overall planning, integration, and oversight and the administration of development information and related systems of institutional donor and constituent-related communications and stewardship programs. S/he is an advancement resource for all Foundation business units and serves as a fundraising advocate for the organization with both its internal and external constituents.

Position Summary:

The Major Gifts Officer for the Center for the Performing and Cinematic Arts (CPCA) (Boyer College of Music and Dance and the School of Theater, Film and Media Arts), reporting to the Assistant Dean for the College, will successfully manage a portfolio of approximately 100 major and leadership gift prospects and will qualify, cultivate, solicit, close, manage and steward gifts primarily between $50,000 and $250,000. The Major Gift Officer will secure funds for CPCA by managing a portfolio of assigned donors, representing CPCA and Temple University at large, and establishing connections between donors’ philanthropic interests and the priorities of CPCA and Temple University. Additionally, the Major Gift Officer is responsible for working directly with the alumni board leadership of the School of Theater, Film & Media Arts to assist setting objectives.

The Associate Director of Admissions and Recruitment will assume the responsibilities for the successful implementation of Boyer College’s music recruitment plans. Maintain a database for all recruitment efforts, including the scheduling of auditions.  Take the lead role in meeting and corresponding with prospective students and their families to inform them of the music programs at Boyer.  Assist in the development of recruitment materials, serves as liaison to community colleges and high schools, community music programs and coordinate recruitment efforts with overall university recruitment activities and events.
